About Catherine

A highly experienced Clinical Consultant Oncologist with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. Catherine is focused towards management of cancers that affect women, especially cancer of the breast.
She has worked on implementation of IAEA supported national projects in radiotherapy as a counterpart (Project Coordinator). Elected to serve on the Management Committee of the African Regional Cooperative Agreement for Research, Development and Training related to Nuclear Science and Technology (AFRA) in September 2018 and is chair of the AFRA Partnership Building and Resource Mobilization Committee. With brilliant interpersonal and communication skills, works well with people of different backgrounds and takes lead where a gap is identified in order to achieve set objectives.
A passionate cancer advocate, and has contributed with various cancer societies in increasing awareness of the public and health care workers on cancer. Strong healthcare services professional with a Fellowship from the College of Medicine of South Africa in Radiation Oncology from Witwatersrand University.
Having more than 10 publications under her name Catherine is known within her peers to be an excellent Oncologist and Cancer care specialist.
